Why post this? Okay, well... Why NOT post this? The rough beginnings of an assignment that I feel very enthusiastic about ;)

A thing from the 1st digital painting class

I was actually a little nervous but it looks like the class is going to be awesome!

Oh and we're using Tulio and Miguel in our first animation assignment of this semester! I am jazzed.

"Backseat director" (WIP)

What can I say, Slings and Arrows is one of my favourite shows ever, right up there with Spaced. Some day way down the line I really want to animate caricatured versions of them doing their best lines, so I tried to "character design" the main characters. :/ It's gonna get better... later... sometime...

Here's my final layout assignment (hey, I did return this on time, I'm only posting it now because of busies).

And sketches of some little bird that I'll probably never use.

By the way, Avatar is a massive bore.
But it had its moment... (Not momentS.) When [spoiler] got [spoiler]ed, with that background music all I could think of was Tropic Thunder !

Christ Crispies!

Here's a "presentation storyboard" (I used fewer panels than I would have used in an actual storyboard - didn't have to illustrate every single action) for a fictional cereal commercial. We had to come up with a brand of cereal ourselves. I was overjoyed by the reactions I got! Thank you, classmates!
